Don’t forget that every Tuesday and Thursday we have Circle Time at 9.15 until about 9.45, before the shop opens. Parents/grandparents/care-givers are more than welcome to pop in with children aged 5 and under (older siblings are welcome to hang out quietly) for thirty minutes of stories and chatting and games and gardening with Bel.

Every Saturday at 11am we have our all age Story Time – drop in and listen to our leaders reading their favorite books and taking requests with yours!

Lafayette Art and Wine Festival – It’s Speak Like A Pirate Weekend at Bel and Bunna’s. Come in and find your new favorite pirate book, which could well be “Pirasaurs” which is written by Josh Funk with the most wonderful pictures by Lafayette illustrator Michael Slack. Yes – really – dinosaur & pirates in the same book… and Michael will be in over the weekend, talking, drawing and generally being here! We will also have face-painting, drawing classes, crafts and special snacks!
