Bel’s Circle Time at the Library – All ages, accompanied by an adult – stories &
singing to start your week. Mondays at 9.30am, outside at the Lafayette Library
Amphitheatre. Only cancelled for rain.
Circle Time – 5 & under, accompanied by an adult – stories, singing, gardening, crafts,
fun. Wednesdays at 9.30am at Bel and Bunna’s Books.
Story Time – All ages, accompanied by an adult – stories, crafts, visiting authors & illustrators, guest readers. Saturdays
at 11.00am at Bel and Bunna’s Books.
Please note that there will not be any story times on December 26th and December 28th .

Bel’s Shop and Sip is Back!
Join Bel at Bel and Bunna’s between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to get some holiday shopping done, whilst enjoying a glass of something delicious and some lovely appetizers and get items ticked off from your holiday list. This date is a strictly child free event.
Saturday 17th December
Santa’s Annual Visit to Bel and Bunna’s Books
Santa is back again, but this year he will be doing something different! Santa will join us for story time at the shop and afterwards he will greet children (& will be available for photo ops) between 11.30 and 1.00, and then 2.30 – 4.30. He won’t be giving gifts this year (although the kids will get a very special sticker & we will offer activities while they wait to see Santa) – instead he has asked that you bring food and/or clothing donations for the shelter in Martinez (a wish/suggestion list will be available on our website & instore from Saturday 3rd December). If you have a moment, do let us know if you plan to attend so that Santa knows approximately how many friends he will be seeing – this isn’t required, but it will help with Santa’s planning!
Holiday Planning
Considering the on-going supply chain issues, to make sure that you have the books you want to gift, we suggest that you start your holiday shopping now (especially if you are planning on mailing gifts!). As always – we are more than happy to help you make the best possible choices and to order anything that we don’t have in stock. Gift cards can be bought in store, over the phone and online. Free local delivery (Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Walnut Creek) is available and same day will be offered from 16th December – 24th December. Cut off time for requesting a delivery each day is 3pm sharp. We are more than happy to mail gifts and gift cards outside our free delivery area at cost. We also offer a wish list service, where customers can create a list, and family & friends can call in to order books from that list. Further details are on our website.
