Due to the Contra Costa county stay in place order we will be closing the shop to walk-ins.

However there are a number of ways to obtain books from the store!

You can text, email or telephone Bel with either some specific requests or for a general enquiry. For the latter, Bel will pick some books, photo them and send the photos to you to help you choose. In either case, we can take payment for the books over the phone (either traditionally with your card, or through Venmo) and then we’ll get the books ready for either delivery or pickup.

We offer curbside pick up
We offer delivery for $5 within 4.1 – 7 miles of the shop.
We offer postage at cost.

If you wish to come and pick up, please park up in the car park, give us a call and we will bring the books out to you to minimize contact. For books delivered, we will always leave them at your front door for the same reason.

We can also take orders for gift cards, and can give you the number of the card (and a secret password if you like) so that then you can pass that number on to a loved one so that they can order from your gift!
